Biohazard Coffee™ is the world’s strongest coffee with around 928mg of caffeine per cup (figure it’s under 200 in a normal cup of coffee), but when I joined the team in 2018 it had some of the weakest branding I had seen. I proposed a full rebrand, complete with a newly developed Shopify website, packaging, and social media overhaul. In the process I learned how to code a shopify website with reusable and easily-editable sections, and direct photographers. We were a highlighted showcase at NY Coffee Fest 2018, where I designed a booth complete with test-tube cold-brew samples, merchandise giveaways, and best of all an appearance from the 6-foot-3, hazmat-suited “Coffee Doctor” himself (which was a pretty shocking thing to see in the pre-COVID world, kids).
The work resulted in a 4x increase in sales, a feature on Live with Kelly and Ryan, and an increase of 10k followers across Facebook and Instagram.
