Cereal Entrepreneurship
In 2019, the founders of NuTrail found themselves unable to lose weight because of having to be constantly working for their jobs running multiple startups at the time. In desperation, they decided to try the keto diet. One of them, a baker by trade, concocted a blend of keto-friendly nuts, seeds, and spices that he brought into work — and it was so good that he ended up making it for the whole office (even those that weren't on keto, like myself). A few iterations on packaging and branding, NuTrail Keto Nut Granola was born and it didn't take long for the "high quality, low carb" product to sweep the nation. I'm proud to say I was there for all of it, from the first bag brought to me in a ziplock to seeing the product launch in Walmart, a dozen bag iterations, name changes, an Amazon store, e-commerce website and more.
